Camera Obscura- just in time for the eclipse!

I've neem wanting to make Camera Obscuras with my classes for a while, and the Solar Eclipse is a perfect opportunity. Growing artist, this post is also for you. Keep your box cause you'll need it. But you can use any box for this, so no worries if you accidentally throw it out. Camera Obscuras (also called pin-hole cameras) have been used for centuries in artmaking, and were a key development in modern photography. They have also been used for centuries as a safe way to view the sun. So, if you haven't ordered your Solar Eclipse glasses- no worries. Grab a box and some duct tape. I'm putting a link below that gives clear instruction as well as some trouble shooting tips you may find helpful. I also made a 4 part video tutorial in the form of Instagram reels. I am putting the QR codes to the reels below as well. You can find them on my social media pages. Ok, Have fun with this!!! I find these little hand made cameras to be magical!! But its actually a wonderful science lesson.
